Yes. You book the car itself, by name, rather than a class ‘or similar’ that resolves on the day: the car in the photographs is the one that arrives, in that colour and that specification, hand-detailed before every rental. Where a model comes in more than one colour, each colour has its own page — name the one you want with the dates and we confirm that car is free on them.

From $102 to $2,500 a day, set car by car. By marque: a Porsche from $286, a Lamborghini from $999, a Bentley from $1,299, a Maybach from $1,799, a Ferrari from $1,999 and a Rolls-Royce from $2,200. The day rate is the car alone; cover, any delivery and the sales tax are itemised on the quote before you pay.

The car's day rate for your dates, built from the cheapest mix of single days and the five- and twenty-one-day blocks on the cars that carry them; the Protection plan per day, unless your own policy is accepted; delivery, if the car is neither collected nor going to a partner hotel; a young-driver fee per day under 25; and Los Angeles County sales tax at 10.25%. Yes, on request: the ordinary way is a refundable hold on a credit card in the renter's own name — Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover — and instead of the hold you can rent without a deposit and pay a small non-refundable fee for each day of the rental. With the fee, nothing is authorised against your card. It is not part of the online booking: ask when you enquire and we quote it beside the ordinary way, for your car and your dates, so you can compare the two totals. Either way the rental, the Protection plan (unless your own policy is accepted) and the sales tax are paid in full when you book, by card rather than cash, a bank transfer such as Zelle, or crypto, and nothing more is taken at pickup. The hold must be on a credit card, not a debit card and not somebody else's, placed at handover and released 5–7 business days after a clean return, longer only if there is damage to price. A car booked with a chauffeur takes no deposit at all — the driver keeps the keys.

The minimum is 21, with a licence held at least two years. Drivers from 21 to 24 pay a young-driver fee: $50 a day on most of the fleet and $175 on the exotics and flagships. Younger than 21, drivers from 18 are considered case by case, on your own full-coverage policy and a larger hold — or book the car with a chauffeur, and nobody's age comes into it.

A driving licence held at least two years — an ordinary car licence, nothing special for a supercar; a learner or provisional licence does not qualify — and a major credit card in the renter’s own name for the refundable hold. A licence from any other US state is treated as a Californian one: the same terms, no passport and nothing extra. Visiting from abroad, bring your passport with your home-country licence; we do not ask for an International Driving Permit.

No. Cover is part of every rental: our Protection plan, in the quote, or your own policy. Your own policy covers the rental if it is collision and comprehensive rather than liability only, reaches the value of the car you are renting, has no exclusion for exotic or high-value rentals, and names every driver — send us the certificate before the booking date and the Protection plan comes off the quote. A credit card’s built-in rental benefit is the one to read twice: American Express’s names exotic and high-value vehicles as not covered.

Yes, but the person driving is the renter. Every driver is named on the rental agreement before the car goes out, comes to the handover with their licence and identification, and meets the same tests — 21 or over, a licence held two years — and the refundable hold goes on a credit card in the renter's own name. A company can book under a corporate account and be invoiced.

Yes, across greater LA — Beverly Hills, the Westside, Hollywood and West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Downtown, Pasadena and the valleys. Delivery is complimentary to the Beverly Wilshire, the Four Seasons at Doheny, L’Ermitage and the Maybourne, and collection from our Robertson Boulevard office costs nothing. LAX is $150 both ways with the car in the airport parking structure or $300 both ways to the terminal, half that for one direction. Any other address is priced by distance from the office, $75 one way inside 10 miles, and itemised on the quote before you pay.

For one day, yes — twenty-four hours is the shortest self-drive rental, and a day is the whole of the commitment. By the hour, the car goes out with a driver: a chauffeur is from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum, added to the car at its day rate. A weekend is booked the same way: one day is one day on a Saturday, with no two-day minimum anywhere in the fleet.

The monthly offer is 30 days from $1,450 on the everyday SUVs, minivans and convertibles, with the Protection plan included — the cars are on the monthly rental page. Yes — both are available on the same car. With a driver, the price is the two added together on one quote: the car at its day rate and the chauffeur from $100 an hour on a two-hour minimum. Plenty of guests use both across one trip — self-drive for the days, a chauffeur for the evening that ends with a valet queue. A chauffeured booking takes no security deposit, and nobody’s age comes into it. Tell us which days are which and we build the reservation round it.

Each car carries its own daily allowance, set per car rather than by class: tell us the route when you enquire and we point you to the cars that suit a long drive, and your car’s allowance and per-mile rate come in writing with the confirmation. Any car may leave California — Las Vegas, Arizona, up the coast — if you tell us the plan in advance. The trip ends back in Los Angeles, at any address in our service area, rather than as a one-way drop in another city.
